Bad News and Good News

Just a quick recap from last weeks article on “Do You Own  A Job” (part 1). The challenge was made to get 20 people to commit to taking half an hour out of their week to make a quick list of everything that they do in the day-to-day operations of running their own box. In saying this, if we hit the 20 person benchmark (people had to comment on the blog here or on our facebook that they did their list), we’d release part 2 of the article that has some killer-strategies that you could use immediately to get your Box working for you, not the other way around.

The Bad News

With all of this in mind, the bad news is that we didn’t hit the target of 20 people taking action and making their lists :(

I know that it’s been a huge week for some of the boxes with regionals, not to mention trying to juggle in the day-to-day operations. But let’s be honest, information without action is futile. Think of it this way, you could be the best programmer this side of HQ, but if your athletes don’t follow your program, or even worse, they do nothing, well it doesn’t matter how good a program it is that you’ve drawn up, it’s not worth the paper it’s written on.

So as much as it pains me, I’m going to keep to my word and not post up the part 2.

The Good News

But like I said, there is some good news for those that have made the half hour effort to construct their list. I’m happy to email the second part out directly to you. All you need to do is click here and in the subject field, type in “part 2″. And as you would have gathered if you were one of the many that took up our offer on the Coaching Assessment Tool, this is not an automatically generated email, rather it is a manual process. So apologies if it takes an extra hour or two to get the email back to you but when it comes to this sort of stuff, I like to talk to people directly.

In the meantime, keep coaching hard and let’s see if we can get your business working for you.
